Colby Covington Alleges That Sean Strickland Is Under Investigation For Pistol-Whipping Someone In Las Vegas

Two of the most outspoken characters in MMA today clearly do not see eye-to-eye with one another.

Colby Covington and Sean Strickland aren't afraid to say what they think about anyone on the roster and that means, inevitably, that they have spoken a lot about each other.

As arguably the two most controversial figures in the sport, they are not big fans of one another, especially after UFC 296 in December, where Strickland made his opinions on Covington very clear.

"Chaos" has continued to hit back at the former middleweight champion and did just that in a recent interview on the SOSCAST podcast.

Whilst it is yet to be proven as true, Covington had some damning things to say about Strickland.

Covington Claims Strickland Is Under Investigation For Assault

During the podcast, Covington claimed that Strickland is currently in trouble with the law for assaulting someone near his home.

After criticizing how Strickland performed during his time as a welterweight in the UFC, he claims that the former champion is a dangerous person.

"Chaos" goes as far as to say that there is currently an investigation surrounding him after he "pistol-whipped" a drunk person in the street.

Many fans will remember the clip of Strickland confronting the person outside his home who was running from the police, so it's no surprise to hear about the 185-pound contender having less than ideal interactions with strangers.

That being said, none of Covington's words are yet to be corroborated by an official source.

"He was a wash out in my division, he couldn’t handle it. He got beat up, knocked out. So he had to leave divisions because he couldn't cut it so you know, I think he's a bum, he's been hit in the head too many times, he's got CTE, straight up. Anything that guys says, you can't follow along. 

"That guys gonna end up literally killing someone someday. He’s under investigation right now in Vegas. Some drunk guy was wandering the streets in Las Vegas like, near his home, he goes outside the home, pistol whips the dude in the middle of the street. So he's under like, crazy investigation in Vegas right now, he’s gonna be going to court.”
